What’s a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a full-body listening experience where you are immersed in sound waves produced by instruments like crystal singing bowls & gongs.
As you rest comfortably, these vibrations move through the body, helping shift the nervous system out of stress & into a deeply relaxed state.
While you are not physically in water, the body is made up of approximately 60% water, allowing sound to travel efficiently & create a subtle, calming effect throughout the body.
No effort is required. You simply relax and receive the sound.
What you might Experience
Stress reduction
Deep relaxation
Improved sleep
Mental clarity
Emotional release
Nervous system regulation
Hi, I’m Courtney
After 15 years as a corporate videographer, I left video production to create healing spaces through sound.
For much of my life, I struggled quietly with depression while appearing completely fine on the outside. Burning out emotionally and in my career led me to therapy, where I began learning how to recognize what I was feeling instead of letting it control me.
As I rebuilt my relationship with myself, I developed a meditation practice that eventually led me to sound. Experiencing my first sound bath changed the direction of my life. I quit my job and traveled to California to begin sound practitioner training with Bella Rivera, studying meditation, music theory, and how to intentionally work with sound.
That training gave me the foundation to create Sixth & Twelfth Sound and begin offering the kind of space I had needed for myself.
Now, I create sound baths for people who are tired of pushing through everything and treating exhaustion like it’s normal. My work gives you space to step away from the noise, slow down, and reconnect with yourself. Your body already knows how to rest. Sometimes it just needs enough space to remember.
